Bernard Moreau - Partner

Bernard Moreau was born in Montréal, Québec, in 1955. He obtained his Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1979 from Sherbrooke University. He was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1980 and has been a partner of the firm since 1986.

Professionally, Mr. Moreau is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has served on the Disciplinary Committee of the Québec Bar (1991-1993).

He was a part time Lecturer, Faculty of Law, University of Montréal (1990-1995). Mr. Moreau also sat on the Montréal Bar Liaison Committee with the Québec Court (1990-1992) and has been an active participant from 1992-1998, with the Montréal Bar Liaison Committee with the Québec Court of Appeal.

He currently enjoys the BV (high to very high) rating of Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Moreau's current areas of practice focus on litigation, with strong elements of employment law, commercial and civil law and estate law. The typical client is the small to medium business and its owners, managers and officers.

Mr. Moreau also serves as an adviser to Board members of a number of Canadian corporations.

Mr. Moreau is fluent in both French and English.
