Daniela L. Villatora - Partner

Daniela Villatora was born in 1961 and was called to the Québec Bar in 1984.

She obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law in 1983 from the University of Montréal and was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1984.

Ms. Villatora is a member of the "Associazione giuristi di lingua italiana", an association regrouping Italian speaking jurists worldwide. She is also a member of the Canadian-Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA), the Swiss-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Montréal), and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-Montréal. Ms. Villatora currently enjoys the 'bv' (high to very high) rating of Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Villatora's general field of practice is corporate/commercial law with a specialization in trust law, both offshore and onshore, in the context of pre-immigration tax planning, tax planning in general or creditor-proofing. In 1992, she co-authored "Cutting your Losses", an article on the use of asset protection trusts and in 1997, was the author of "International Insolvencies", both of which have been published in the Montreal Business Magazine.

She is fluent in English, French and Italian.
